Needed Items

Miknaitis Needed Items List:

 Vehicle: donated vehicle or $10,000-15,000

There are pros and cons to either importing a car or buying one new there.  It can be risky to buy a used vehicle in Honduras because there is no reliable report to tell the history of the vehicle.  Many are shipped down from the States after being rebuilt.  Other missionaries highly suggest getting a diesel Toyota or Nissan because diesel fuel is easy to find, the parts are readily available, and finding a mechanic to fix them is easier. Also a 4x4 is a must since many dirt roads and rivers are nearly impassable in the rainy season.

We would love to have a donated 4x4 diesel Toyota or Nissan SUV or quad-cab truck to ship down in a container.  We would not have to pay import taxes which is a huge blessing.
